Part of the new Snom M500 Dual Cell System, along with the Snom M500 Dual DECT Base Station and the Snom M58 DECT Deskphone (Both Sold Separately) the Snom M55 DECT Handset is Snom's all rounder in the DECT environment, it impresses with a robust design and haptics. Its large 2.4 Inch Colour Display provides a clear and concise view of the intuitive user interface.
In addition to proven system features including line monitoring, hold / retrieve, call pickup, broadcast and intercom groups can be programmed on the 6 LED Function Keys.
A powerful 1500 mAh battery allows up to 12 hous of talk time in HD audio quality, Bluetooth Headsets are also supported in addition to wired Headsets.
All settings can be made centrally via the Snom M500 Base Station using zero touch provisioning and software updates are carried out over the air.
The 6 keys can be assigned just like BLF keys, thanks to the Shared Call Emulation Support.

The M55 can receive updates via radio, i.e OTA - Over the Air, as a rule the DECT Handsets must be in their Charging Cradle for the updates to take effect.
Shared Call Emulation (SCE)
Shared Call Emulation is very similar to BLF on Desk Phones, it allows monitoring, viewing, answering, holding and transferring calls to be done via thje programmable keys in the DECT environment.
