Snom's own Shared Call Emulation feature enables call sharing on all M10 SC Handsets that are connected to the M100 SC Base Station, without the need for programming knowledge or support from the PBX provider. The system can be set up via the web interface and through provisioning.
Software updates of the M10 SC Handset are carried out via the DECT Interface (OTA), ensuring a stable operation of the system. The Snom M100 SC Base Station can be powered via any existing PoE Switch.
The Snom M10 SC Handset offers call functions including holding and transferring calls, in addition to crystal clear audio quality. The modern high quality DECT Handset has a large display and backlit keypad, its powerful battery provides up to 9 hours of talk time or up to one week of standby time.
Four LED function keys are freely programmable and support the VoiP providers independent call sharing with other M10 Handsets thaks to Snom's Shared Call Emulation feature. Up to 6 SIP Calls can be made simultaneously.
The Base Station communicates using radio standard for telecommunications - Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT)
GAP - Generic Access Profile is a signaling protocol defined by the European Telecommunications Standard Institute (ETSI), this enables devices from different manufacturers to be interconnected. The protocol enables only the simplest functions such as registering the Handset - answering a call, establishing a connection, holding and terminating the connection.
All other functions provided by the DECT protocol of the respective manufacturer are not supported by GAP.
The M100 SC Base Station can receive updates via radio, i.e Over the Air (OTA.
The DECT Base Station can receive its power via a connected network cable (providing the network switch supports this) and has enough power to supply all connected devices.
The DECT Base Station cannot be connected to a Mulit-Cell, it can only be operated alone.
The M100 has an integrated phone book.
The M10 Handset has backlit keys, ideal for low light conditions.
