The MC6000 Plus is ideal for those who are deaf, have lost their hearing or for those who are just hard of hearing. Instead of talking over the phone, the conversation can be typed and saved. The words spoken by the person on the other side will appear in writing on the screen, You can then type your reply back to them.

The MC6000 plus offers a choice of connections. It can plug directly into an analogue line or can use a digital telephone by placing the unit on the acoustic cups. The unit offers the additional capability of built-in printer that can print conversations with a choice of font sizes.

To use the text on screen option - dial the number you want with 18001 before it, or get the person calling you to dial 18002 before your number. You will connect with a Text Relay operator. The operator will relay the incoming caller's voice into text for you to read from the display screen. You can then type your reply and the operator will relay that to the person on the other end.
