About the Reveal D7

Reveal have been making award winning, secure Body Worn Cameras for over a decade. Design is always at the forefront of their product philosophy. Not only are the Body Cameras easy to use, they are designed to be products that users are proud to wear, they have been adopted by a range of Industries and Sectors including frontline workers.

The D7 is the top of the range D-Series Body Camera. It has all the functionalities of the D6, and it comes with a slot for a Mobile 3G or 4G SIM Card enabling the D7 to stream over a mobile network.

The Reveal D7 incorporates all the srandard D-Series Range features including ruggedised casing, a unique front facing screen, 14 hour recording time and an articulated camera head.

The onboard GPS function pinpoints a users location which proves beneficial for operational awareness and management.

Even though the Reveal D7 has a rugged casing. it has a lightweight design and weighs only 200g, Its IP65 rating ensures that the Bodycam is ideal for use in adverse weather conditions.

The Reveal D7 also has a Nano SIM Card slot which accepts 3G and 4G Nano SIM Cards enabling live streaming over a mobile network.

Benefits of Body Worn Cameras:

• Allows Quick and Easy Playback - With the Front Facing Screen, it is easy to review and playback footage, During playback footage can be re-wound or fast forwarded to a specific incident or a specific time of an incident

• Active Display vs Stealth Mode - The screen does not need to be activated at all times - in some cases it is turned off but is still actively recording in Stealth Mode. With the D7 Stealth Mode shows no image on screen and the red light that indicates recording remains unlit but recording is still taking place

Front Facing Screen

Front Facing Screens are a unique feature of Reveal Body Worn Cameras. A front facing screen is an LCD Display on the front of the Camera that allows real time recording or playback of footage that has been recorded. This feature has a proven calming effect with the public.

When required the front facing screen can be set to ‘Stealth Mode', this is where the screen is turned off but recording is still active, and the red light that illuminates recording remains unlit.

View realtime footage and playback recordings without the need for a PC or a Smartphone.

Articulated Camera Head

Directing the head allows the Camera to be worn in various ways on people of all shapes and sizes, without implicating the field of vision.

Thanks to the Camera's versatility, it can also be used in a Vehicle, as a Recorder in an Interview, as a Handheld Camera and it can also be Head Mounted on a Helmet or a Cap.

One Touch Record

In Body Camera's, a quick and simple action to start recording is an essential feature, the D7 features a red sliding switch that the user needs to slide into position to start recording.

Unbreakable Security

Reveal was the first manufacturer to introduce AES encryption in a Body Camera. It is important that footage is encrypted at the point of capture and remains encrypted until the upload process.

14 Hour Recording Time

Working closely with the chipset manufacturers, Reveal have used the latest Camera technology and power management techniques to optimise the electronics to ensure that the battery lasts for the entire shift.
