Make Sure You Buy the Right Size
All business, whether big or small, have different setups and different storage needs.
Before you rush in and order one of the great Prism free-standing cabinets we have in stock, you need to think about your company’s specific needs. Work out how many routers, network cable lines and other pieces of equipment you need to store in a cabinet and then choose the cabinet that offers the best and most compatible storage solution, with some extra room for growth.
We have both smaller 600mm rack mounting cabinets and slightly more spacious and expansive 800mm rack mounting cabinets in a variety of different configurations.

Lockable Cabinet Options
When the equipment in your cabinets is running properly and you do not want anyone tinkering with it, it is a good idea to invest in a cabinet with lockable doors and side panels. This will prevent both malicious tampering and accidents from occurring. There is no real reason, after all, unless you are replacing components, scaling up your network or upgrading a piece of equipment or having tests run and any repairs completed, why your cabinet should be opened.
With the Prism cabinets, they not only have adjustable and customisable side panelling but locks on those panels and on the swing door to the rear and the front door. As well as keeping everything neat and tidy.
Castors
Once a telecoms cabinet or server cabinet is full of equipment and wiring, it can be very heavy to move. That is why you must invest in a free-standing model that has castors at the bottom of each of its legs, as these make it much easier to move and pivot so that techs can access rear panels.
