The Ericsson Dialogue 7187a Business Phone incorporates a wide range of features designed to make business or home communications as effective as possible. Designed with a hands free speaking function, makes it ideal for conference meetings. The Alphanumeric LCD Display can be tilted easily at the user's discretion. The LCD shows the number on incoming calls, date and time and the duration of the call. The last dialed numbers can also be seen on ont LCD display.

The 7187a has many other features including the integrated telephone book, integrated headset port, which allows a headset to be plugged directly into the telephone. Also featuring up to 14 programmable function keys that can be used for speed dialing. Blue LED message waiting information.

For Hotel environments, the function keys can be locked to prevent changes by users and guests, the phone is equipped with an extra line/data port for easy connection to a PC modem or fax. Alarm clock feature is also included with a reminder and wake up features.
