The Entel DTEx Series is the latest line of intrinsically safe Two Way Radios designed for use in hazardous environments. These Radios are built to withstand extreme conditions and feature a number of safety features that make them ideal for use in these environments.

The DTEx Series combines the latest DMR Digital Technology with the highest ATEX gas group ratings to deliver best-in-class range, safety, and reliability. The Radios exceed MIL-STD-810 and have a market leading IP68 rating, making them fully submersible in up to 2 metres of water for up to 4 hours and dependable in even the most extreme and hostile of environments.

Customise and Configure

The versatile DTEx Series can be configured to use the more advanced features of a high tier Radio or for basic (PTT) push to talk operation. Customise the high contrast OLED screen to display simple large characters or to customise to display more detailed information.

Exceptional Audio

The DTEx Series also features intelligent speech tailoring technology, which automatically detects the type of accessory connected and optimises the audio accordingly to deliver the very best performance. This means that you can be confident that you will always be able to hear and be heard, no matter what environment you are in.

Reliable Safety Features

DTEx Two Way Radios offer optional digital mode Lone-Worker, Man-Down, and Emergency Button features that can be programmed by dealers. These three safety features work together to ensure that an alarm is raised, even if the channel is already busy.

Submersible up to 2 Metres for 4 Hours

The DTEx Series of Two Way Radios are built to withstand the harshest and wet environments. With an IP68 rating, these Radios are protected against corrosion and can withstand total immersion in water to a depth of 2 meters for 4 hours.

The DT985 Accessory Socket also features an automatic validation process that safeguards against the use of non-compliant accessories. This ensures the integrity of IS protection levels and protects users from potential safety hazards.

In addition, all DTEx accessories incorporate a robust locking connector that further safeguards users. This ensures that accessories cannot be accidentally disconnected, even in harsh environments.
