The DTEx Series of Radios are ultra durable and are the latest addition to Entels range of Intrinsically Safe Radios. The rugged DTEx delivers exceptionally loud audio coupled with outstanding audio clarity, whilst the ergonomic controls are specifically designed for gloved hand use.

By combining the latest DMR digital technology and highest ATEX gas group ratings, the DTEx Series delivers best in class range, safety and reliability. Exceeding MIL-STD-810 and a market leading IP68 rating, the fully submersible DTEx can be depended on to withstand the most hostile and extreme environments, and are submersible in a water depth of up to 2 metres for up to 4 hours.

MILSTD 810C/D/E/F/G

Meeting MIL-STD 810C/D/E/F/G and providing commercial grade construction for tough, enduring performance. Entels DT900 Series Radios conform to stringent standards, enabling them to withstand the everyday rigours of shock, vibration and the corrosive effects of dust and moisture, ensuring many years of trouble free use.

Environmental Protection to IP68 (2 Metres for 4 Hours)

The DTEx Series offers the highest submersibility rating if any manufacturer - IP68, this ensures protection against corrosion and likely hazards encountered in wet environments. The DTEx Series are constructed to withstand total immersion in a water depth of 2 metres for 4 hours.

Migrate to Digital - Mixed Mode Operation

DTEx Radios utilise both Analogue and DMR Digital technologies. Mixed Mode Operation means the Radio can receive both DMR Digital & Analogue Modes without the user having to change channels. Supporting both Analogue & Digital is beneficial when both Analogue and Digital Radios are being used together for example when a user is migrating from an existing Analogue Radio System to a DMR Digital Radio System.

Simple End User Programming

The simple and unique PC app is included free of charge with the purchase of your DTEx Radio, meaning there is no longer any need to return a Handset to your dealer for any updates or re-programming. The user friendly app users can simply transfer programming data, future proof software updates or add new features to your DTEx Radios.

Keylock

To avoid accidental operation, the DTEx Series of Radios keys and controls can be locked.

Entels intelligent batteries and accessories are designed to deliver optimum performance and safety. In Digital Mode, the Lithium-Ion Battery endurance on DT900 Radios is more than 18.5 hours from a single charge!

From simple Earpiece to Bone Conductive options for extremely high noise environments, a vast range of Entel-original Audio Accessories are available, in addition third party Breathing Apparatus comms kits are also supported.

Entels intelligent speech tailoring technology optimises audio to match the connected accessory, ensuring volume, natural sounding audio and the very best clarity.

High Grade and Robust Accessory Socket

The rugged, multi-pin interface and Micro-USB socket are both submersible and gold plated, minimising any risk of damage or corrosion, meaning when an accessory is secured to the Portable Radio, the connection is able to withstand any amount of punishment, from careless misuse or dropping the Radio.

To ensure the integrity of IS protection levels and safeguard against non compliant accessories being used, any accessory that is connected to the Radio automatically undergoes a validation process. All DTEx accessories incorporate a robust locking connector to further safeguard the user.

Customisable Configuration

The fully featured and versatile DTEx Series of Radios can be configured for basic push-to-talk (PTT) operation, or the more advanced features that you would expect of a higher tier Two Way Radio. The high contrast OLED screen can be customised to display either simple large character or more detailed information.

DTEx Radios support optional Digital Mode Lone-Worker, Man-Down and Emergency Button with Call Interrupt as dealer programmable features. These three levels os safety ensure an alarm is raised, even if the channel is already busy.

ATEX Approved IIC - The DT900 Series of ATEX Certified Portables meet IIC T4 - The mose stingent ATEX ratings as per EU Directive 94/9/EC.

Individual, Group Calling & Caller ID

Entels DT900 Series provide both Individual and Group Calling which can be selected via the channel control, and on display models the Radios large contact list, display models can also display the callers ID.
