About the PowerTel 2700

For users with hearing loss or memory loss, users who struggle to hear the telephone ring or struggle to hear conversations and for users who struggle to remember important telephone numbers and find using a standard telephone difficult, the Amplicomms Powertel 2700 has been designed with those users in mind and helps to alleviate those struggles.

A DECT Cordless Handset with an amplified receiver volume of up to 40db and an increased ringing volume of up to 90dB, the Powertel 2700 is ideal for carrying around the home. Its compatible with Hearing Aids and has six volume levels and mute, and a choice of 10 standard ringtones. Its large easy to read numbered keys and blue backlight help prevent mis-dialing. The phonebook allows up to 100 numbers to be stored and the most recently used 10 numbers can be redialed.

Range of the Handset

The range of the Handset depends on several factors including the thickness of the walls and building materials, the indoor range is up to 50 metres and the outdoor range in line of sight is up to 300 metres.

Amplified Cordless Handset

The Powertel Cordless Handset is ideal for carrying around the home, it can be placed anywhere in the house allowing users to take it with them from room to room if they are expecting a call, the amplified ringer volume up to 90dB and receiver volume up to 40dB enables users to adjust the ringers to their preference and choose between ten ringtones. HD (DSL) sound provides low distortion with a built in equaliser, and this can be changed between four settings - Natural, Treble 1, Treble 2 and Bass.

Caller ID

Caller ID can be displayed on the Handset (Subject to Services Available from Telephone Company/Provider).
