About the Amplicomms BigTel 1580 Combo

The Amplicomms BigTel 1580 Combo provides the security of a Corded Phone and the mobility of a DECT Handset with enhanced features. The BigTel 1580 offers a dedicated Call Blocking Key on the Corded Telephone and on the DECT Handset (to use Call Blocking Features - you must subscribe to Caller ID - this is an additional service from your Telephone Provider). Call Blocking can be done in two ways - Manually Block - users can block the number during a call or from the call log by pressing the dedicated Call Blocking Key - Automatically Block - only registered contacts or VIP contacts will be able to get through, any numbers not saved in the phonebook will be blocked from calling you.

The Corded Telephone comes equipped with a high quality Large Graphic Display with names and numbers (FSTN), 4 lines dot matrix, up to 100 can be stored in the phonebook directory (between handsets), essential functions the Corded Telephone can be used if there is a power outage

The BigTel 1580 is Hearing Aid Compatible and has a dedicated Audio Boost Key (Up to 35dB) and an Amplified Ringer Volume of up to 90dB, this is ideal for users who may struggle with hearing difficulties. Additional Amplicomm BigTel 1501 Handsets can be added to the BigTel 1580 Combo, 4 BigTel 1501 Handsets can be added to one Base allowing another 3 Additional Handsets along with the included Handset to be added if needed. An LED visual indicator flashes when an imcoing call is coming through ensuring calls arent missed.

Three direct memory keys (M1/ M2 / M3) on the Handset and Name Cards on the Corded Phone can be pre-programmed with regularly called or important contact numbers allowing them to be contacted at the touch of a button. Simply press the required memory key when you set up the phone and add the name and number.
