About the Amplicomms BigTel

For users with hearing loss or memory loss, users who struggle to hear the telephone ring or struggle to hear conversations and for users who struggle to remember important telephone numbers and find using a standard telephone difficult, the Amplicomms BigTel 1500 has been designed with those users in mind and helps to alleviate those struggles.

The BigTel 1500 is a cordless DECT Phone with amplified volume - up to 35dB receiver volume and up to 90dB ringer volume. The BigTel 1500 has been designed with Call Blocker - it has a dedicated Call Block Key and users can block up to 100 numbers either manually or automatically - manually - block calls during or after incoming calls from the call log with the dedicated call block key - automatically - only stored or VIP numbers will be able to ring.

The phone is hearing aid compatible and Caller ID is displayed on the Handset when a call is coming through - Caller ID Services will need to be enabled via the telephone provider.

The phone is designed with three speed dial buttons - M1, M2, M3 - users can program important numbers such as relatives or emergency numbers into the speed dial numbers so they can be contacted at the touch of a button. Up to 3 additional Handsets can be added to each base. A call log of the last 50 numbers is recorded on the phone that include the date and time of the call.
