About the 2N® Access Unit M

The 2N Access Unit M offers a flexible and secure solution for managing access to your business. With its multifrequency ability to read most RFID cards at 125kHz and 13.56 MHz frequencies, its ideal for buildings who have more than one company in them and who use different cards.

It includes a controller with full decision intelligence, A single UTP cable streamlines installation, reducing costs and minimses disruption.

For employees who prefer not to carry a physical card, the Access Unit M also supports NFC technology (Android Devices Only). Download the My2N App from Google Play for Android Devices, and simply tap your compatible smartphone to gain access, providing a convenient and modern alternative.

NFC and RFID access are used during working hours, outside of normal working hours visitors who need to gain entry will need to enter a PIN code with this model of the 2N Access Unit M. This model is ideal for when you need to give visitors a one off access code.

The keypad is backlit and can be seen easily, allowing it to be installed in low light or dark environments.

Easily manage and control your access system using the secure web interface or the 2N Access Commander software. This centralised approach simplifies administration and reduces the need for on site maintenance.

The 2N Access Unit M can be used inside or outside of buildings, the IP55 and IK07 protection ratings ensure that the Unit M is protected from dust, water and accidental impact.

IP55 Rating / IK07 Impact Rating

The 2N Access Unit M is built to withstand daily use and with an IP55 protection rating ensures that the Unit is protected from dust and water making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.

Its toughened glass front panel ensures lasting durability and a scratch free finish, even after years of use.

IK07 Impact Protection Rating enables the 2N Access Unit M to withstand 2 Joules of impact energy, ideal for areas where there is a risk of impact but the risk is not excessive.
